Ashnaa – Assisted living and Skill training

Ashnaa is functioning on a 3 acre property which is an experiential learning campsite. The campsite has a beautiful scenic view, with vast open space, a rustic garden and fresh air. Two comfortable dormitories on the campus provide a safe, supportive environment of assisted living for adults with developmental disabilities and cognitive challenges. Staff members work with each resident and their family members to develop an Individual Program Plan (IPP) to meet the residents’ goals and interests. Training schedules may include opportunities ranging from sports and music to developing job skills and mastering functional academics. Some residents aim to achieve on-campus employment. Skill based training and job opportunities exist in a variety of departments on campus, including garden maintenance, housekeeping, dietary or guest relations.
